Last month I did a shoot for Groundeffect. The images were for the front cover of their Summer brochure and article about their latest and greatest cycling shorts, the new Exocets & Sirens. As far as Lycra goes these are pretty cool, with 3D shaping, variable density foam layers and a variety of sophisticated contact fabrics. I have a pair and they just work. Anyway, the shoot took place in the Port Hills, Christchurch. Danielle assisted me on the shoot with Laurence from Groundeffect there to approve the images as we shot. I can’t stress enough that shooting “Tethered” (directly to your laptop) is way the forward, the client gets to see the images as you shoot and you also get to look at details that you might miss when just “chimping” on the back of your camera.
